Tips
- It has been observed to be associated with multiple disorders, including diabetes mellitus, renal failure, hyperparathyroidism, liver disease, neurodermatitis, IgA nephropathy, peri ampullary carcinoma with jaundice, adenocarcinoma and liver neoplasms.
- Search and manage the underlying causes.
- Urea, creatinine, FBG and glycosylated hemoglobin should be ordered.
- Histopathogical examination.

Topical
- Topical retenoid: Tretinoin 0.1%, Tazarotene 0.1% gel.
- Topical corticosteroids : Clobetasol propionate 0.05 % ointment.

Systemic
- Antihistamines
- Allopurinol: 100 mg once daily.
