Instructions
- One-third of lesions recur after excision.
- Intraoperative bleeding may be problematic.
Medical treatment
- Imiquimod cream : twice daily, 5 days per week for 2 weeks
Physical treatment
- Surgical excision is generally required.
- Cryotherapy.
- Co2 lasers.
- Pulsed dye lasers.
- Nd:YAG laser.
- Polidocanol sclerotherapy (for the deep vascular component) plus Radiofrequency ablation.
- Photodynamic therapy.
