Instructions

  • One-third of lesions recur after excision.
  • Intraoperative bleeding may be problematic.

Medical treatment

  • Imiquimod cream : twice daily, 5 days per week for 2 weeks

Physical treatment

  • Surgical excision is generally required.
  • Cryotherapy.
  • Co2 lasers.
  • Pulsed dye lasers.
  • Nd:YAG laser.
  • Polidocanol sclerotherapy (for the deep vascular component) plus Radiofrequency ablation.
  • Photodynamic therapy.
